I wouldn't call any returning IP interesting really. Yes, Zelda U will apparently change the direction of the series a bit but it still has link, and the normal Zelda feeling. I would say that it will be a great game most likely but interesting? Nah. I never played Xenoblade but plan to get X. With that said, it looks to be similar to other JRPG's out there. Again, I could be wrong. If it is similar though, it can be the best one ever made but it still isn't interesting per say. What other game features a 4V4 shooter where the goal is to paint the most area of a map while controlling squid like creatures holding weapons? It seems like an original concept to me. I find original to be interesting. What you find interesting might be different from me which is fine though |
For you maybe, but you said this is the most interesting thing Nintendo has done is 10 years. I'm just saying the majority of people would disagree with you on that point and find other games (like LoZ and XCX) more interesting.
I would love to be wrong though. I would love for this to release, and it sell completely out to where it pushes systems and becomes a title I wind up getting week 3 because it was just impossible to find the first two weeks (like Fire Emblem Awakening and Pokemon X and Y). I just don't think the general interest level for this game is nearly as high as it is for Xenoblade X or LoZ.
