I downloaded MGS4 onto my PS3!!

That's a good question. I wanna know the answer too. 

MGS4 is a great game, but it required a new installation for every sequence. It was boring to wait.

I think the trophy patch introduced the ability to install all the sequences at the start menu

At least for me, i played it this year and dont remember there being very long load times at all

It did.  You used to have to insta!l every level and uninstall once you completed it (madness!) but an update let you install the full game.
