That is very annoying to hear. Why arent reviewers pointing this out on their reviews? If the single player is totally not worth i would have liked to have heard that before buying these games. It also means that their lifetime is very short.

Single player in monster hunter games is definitely worth it, it just so happens that the multiplayer is much bigger and better relatively. You get a good experience with single player, you just don't get the full experience.
