Why should they? One is ultra cheap and portable... selling to mostly children. The other is upwards of $400.00, sits in the living room and is played mostly by adults. The two couldn't be anymore different.

Yeah, and when an automaker makes a lot of money off of motorcycles, they ignore those profits because "they don't count". Whether a burger joint makes most of its money on happy meals or the big mac, they're still slinging burgers. Do you think Sony wouldn't be happier if the Vita were the dominant console worldwide?

With the rise of mobile gaming (even here in the US), it's about high time we quit pretending that home consoles are the overall measure of success for a videogame company.
