So with the "real battle" in the books Microsoft comes away winning 2 out of 4 in the US and (presumably) 0 out of 4 WW. Despite this though PS4 was still the highest selling console both in the US and WW in 2014.
With the newly announced "promotion" (or as it should be called: price cut) I think XB1 will be in a better position in the US throughout 2015. I don't see it having much of an impact rest of the world though.
