The WiiU didn't have only 10% userbase (8 million vs. 80 million), it had over 20% of the 360-userbase (8 million WiiUs late 2014 vs. less than 40 million 360s early 2010). And Bayonetta 2 had some additional advantages which skew the comparison: a big publisher behind it with all its PR power, the bundled-in Bayonetta 1 (almost) for free and no competition of similar games on that platform. |
Still at 0.91m at xbox 360 with 80m userbase nowadays and that´s with a global critic aclamation and good marketing.
