Amiibo sold 2.5 million units in NA for 2014. How do you evaluate that?

Really good for Nintendo. I've never doubted the profitability of Amiibo, only that it wouldn't do anything to help out the Wii U's sales. Nintendo's whole merchandising area is severely under-served.
