Nintendo will lower the price of the WiiU when doing so means a noticeable price reduction (50$/€) without going back to losing money. After all, we know that WiiU hardware is profitable since a few months ago, but we still don't know by how much.

Because of that, and given how good was their E3 last year, I could see Nintendo announcing a redesigned 250 $/€ WiiU at E3, launching it shortly after.

Sure, they will get less money from the hardware, but given that most of the games on WiiU are from Nintendo, they could get back that extra money with the games that those new users will buy.
