The "even Wii U" bit obviously shows your bias. The game would be better on Wii U than PS Vita going by the criteria you provided. Anyway, Monster Hunter got popular on PSP, so people are plenty fine with playing it on a handheld.

A wii u version for me wouldn't be better because I would prefer it on a portable system that has decent camera controls and better graphics. If I was biased I wouldn't have even mentioned the wii u. The "even wii u" bit was added because I don't own a wii u.

You seriously believe the Vita can produce better graphics than the Wii U? lol As for controls there are multiple controller methods on the Wii U. The gamepad isn't the only controller, meanwhile the Vita is limited to one control method, and if it doesn't suit you then whatever.

No, I believe the vita can produce better graphics than the 3ds. I'm talking about a 3ds vs vita version since, again, I would prefer a portable version. If mh4 was coming to all 3 platforms I mentioned and the 3ds version too. It would go like this for me as far as what platform I would prefer to play the game on.
Vita > PS4 > Wii U > 3ds
