I've only played Monster Hunter tri (wii), but there wasn't a single player boss I fought that I couldn't beat without dying. You just need to find the weapon that works for you, get a good armor set, and play with the mindset that your first priority should be staying alive. If you can't stay alive you are worthless. If you can't get a hit off during a specific attack without getting hit yourself, then don't try to attack at that point in time. It is a change in thinking but I think that is what makes it great. It is very much about overcoming the odds by fighting something that is so much bigger and stronger than you are, but it does so without becoming unfair. |
So you have Monster Hunter Tri ...
Well that figures, out of the two between Monster Hunter Tri and Monster Freedom Unite the latter is known to be more difficult than the former ...
I DID have BOTH good weapons and armor sets. I DID have the priority of staying alive at all times when it came to a boss. YOU can't say I DIDN'T do my part.
When it came to the Tigrex, it was pretty clear from that point on the bosses were nothing more than pushovers ...
I shouldn't have to spend over 30+ minutes to kill a boss that can tank down your health easily ...
