Imo the VA in XBC was well really fucking cheesy but it worked because of the British accent, it also just brings something unique. In saying that I could be biased... I mean Gideon Emery is the greatest VA to work on a Final Fantasy game.

Well, I prefer english VA only when its good. If its mediocre to terrible, I would rather have the Japanese VA than the English one. So, its like, if the VA for NA is as bad as say in Pandora's Tower, than Japanese VA plox but if its as good as the FF series, than English 10/10 times

And if its somewhere in the middle, then it really depends on the dialog cause some things sound better in Japanese than in English and vice versa
