The 360 has a much bigger userbase in America, and it's almost equal to the PS3 in weekly sales now. I believe the 360 in itself has an edge there, which will become more visible after it gets the price cuts it deserves (it's been out for so long with only a measly $50 price cut). When I said that they have laid their cards on the table I meant that their strategy and their assets are all visible now. Do you think there are any significant secrets left in their strategies? We know their biggest games, we know what they're willing to do in the console war. You know what games you will get if you get a PS3 or a 360. You also know that most of the games are common to both consoles, and I don't see any reason why it would be different in the future.

The problem is not that WE know what their strategies are, it's how the average joe will react when the event actually happen. Do we know what will happen during the christmas period? We can guess on the info we have, but the effect this will have on other consumers is a mystery....
Nothing is over yet, we are still 18 months into this competition and while some of the cards are on the table, I don't think the hd winner was announced yet...
Personally i think that the PS3 will improve significantly, however what significantly means is open to debate...
PSN ID: T_Gears
End of 2009 ltd sales:
Wii = 67-68m
X360 = 38-39m
PS3 = 34-35m
Prediction: The PS3 will surpass the 360 on weekly sales after it drops to $299 on all regular weeks (no big releases).
