I'm no console-only-peasant (I mean no harm with this. That one guy with the picture of PC-master race and the conosle peasants... its hilarious. Thats all), so forgive my ignorance. I just bought a new TV and I'm getting a Wii U in a week or so. I'll be buying Pikmin 3, Hyrule Warriors, Mario 3d World, Smash bros, Windwaker HD, Captain Toad, possibly Bayonetta 2, possibly Splatoon, and then the new Zelda. Together with my pc games, I'm set for years.
Drought? Compared to what? How many games do you guys actually buy, anyways? And so what if there was 200 games a year. Do you enjoy all of them? Or is the "drought" tailored to your own preferences? Does one console satisfy our every gaming need? Did you forsake every other platform other than your main one, ignoring everything else just to be able to.... get mad when there aren't enough, because you've limited yourself.....?
Does the average PS4/Xbone-owner buy a new game every week? Is that all there is to it, these days? Consume every single game as fast as possible?
Even with the vast library on pc, I still don't buy many games, because the ones I have take time to play. Replayability, multiplayer etc. Or is that it? The ones screaming "drought" play games 16 hours a day?
I'm really confused here, guys :/ Maybe someone can clarify this for me.
