Socioeconomics plays a role in what becomes cultural to some people. What becomes cultural is only really social lifestyle, custom, habit that is accepted by a group and is passed on through the generations. It is what becomes cultural diversity and makes one group with a set of customs in one town seperate from another even though they might be genotypes.
