Thanks for the help guys, I can't actually change the router settings myself, it's all in the landlord's hands. I think he's using an old router that might not have AES as an option, but he's changing everything over in the next few months (new provider, equipment etc) so I think I should be able to wait it out and have an AES network set up soon.


Downlaod the manual for his router it may give oyu a clue if it does. This is assuming you know the model number.
