I prefer physical copies over digital unless I'm buying a very old game that I never beat before. With a physical copy, you can trade it in, sell it or return it (in a few days) if you ever change your mind on it. If you hold onto it long enough, it might become collectible. Considering how AAA games from franchises are being released broken or sometimes you just pick a crap game, physical is the only way to get your money back. Also you can let friends borrow your game. Any money you might save buying digital would pale in comparison to the money you would get from selling or trading in a physical copy most of the time.
