How do you play Dragon Age Inquisition?

The loot you find in this game sucks, if you find something you think is good, you should be able to craft a better item instead.

You can kill some Dragons at 12.  Try the Hinterlands one.

Also if you feel like cheating a bit, can very easily dupe crafting materials.  Saves farming them.

I have been crafting some armour, but I haven't found better weapons. Should I be buying up schematics?
