Ninty's demise would be a huge loss. They are an important part of gaming because they have their unique approach at it, it would be nearly impossible to replace them completely, just like on a smaller scale great defunct studios of the past can't be completely replaced even if their people keep on working elsewhere, just think about Looking Glass, Psygnosis, Bullfrog, Origin and others and think about how many of their masterpiece series were dumbed down or in the best cases turned into very different things that just keep the name of their ancestors (I don't say that the latter are bad, but being made those new ways they actually are different games with old, glorious names, while the original series and inspirations are lost forever even if it wasn't time for them to die yet, just think about Thief, Deus Ex, Fallout, Syndicate...)
