You mean anti-consumer is the future? How lovely...
How anyone supported what they were trying for and even now still thinks it is the future baffles me. It's as if people hold such loyalties that they care not for their ownership rights whatsoever. What other industry do you have consumers willingly giving up ownership rights?
Music? Nope. Heck we still have CDs.
Movies? Nope. Even in the digital age we have physical media.
So why is this the future for games? No physical, no 2nd hand market, no lending to friends and family, etc...
Why would anyone WANT this to be the future? You don't need to try and destroy retail to move forward with digital. Their entire plan was 100% anti-consumer. They don't give a rat's ass about their userbase and they showed it clear as day.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
