Minecraft is well over 50m sold now.  Its 10m+ on Xbox Live.  Like 20m on PC and another 1-2m on PS4/XBO/PSV.  Add in 30m mobile and youre around 60m sold so far and still going.  I wonder how far it will go

Well, there is a piracy problem on Android especially (see the recent news story about Monument Valley), but I highly doubt that they're including pirated downloads in this 30m figure, I'm sure that's actual sales.

Pirating Minecraft on Android is as easy as ABC. No need to even download the data file, just manage to get your hands on the apk and that's it.

And that's exactly why they're not including pirated copies lol. (Who the hell would even include pirated copies in official sales numbers??)
