Waiting for it to go on sale again at the Origin store. But, I am glad that you brought this up, as I had been thinking of how to start the game and which way to go the first time through.

I hope that many people respond to this thread.

This game is much deeper than the last DA, so you'll be fine and have many choices at your disposal. You'll have many characters to switch around as well depending on how you customize their skill trees. Attribute points are no longer customizable, they level up with you; however, much like the last DA you can use your clothing and accessories as a buff for your weapons and clothes. You also can increase the attire of everyone (You just cannot upgrade bianca very much for varric so he'll probably become dead weight if you rely on an archer rogue). A good replacement for Varric this time around is Sera. I just remember that in DA 2 I replaced him with Sebastian, so yeah...i feel no shame any longer (LOL).  Anyway, once again, you'll be fine. A new addition to this game is the War Table, which maps out your battlefield of the war and each battle it will take to win the war by gaining as much help and resources as possible. From there you'll have to make important decisions with the advise of three of your inquisition members and each one will be crafted to their bias. One will be diplomatic, the other will be rogue and the other will be for the good of the military.

Also, if you haven't played DA before, the game will direct you to the EA website so you can customize the storyline tapestry so the fallout from the customized games can affect the world that you're in.
