I don't want Nintendo dead, I want them to adapt and do better, and to stop thinking that the gaming world should revolve around them instead of the other way around.

Who is in this gaming world you speak of?, are you reffering to markets per chance?, because I'd imagine that's what it'd be down to.

I like what Nintendo makes more or less currently, I don't on the other hand like what Sony's making at the moment and a little bit of MS too but here's the thing, you want them to adapt which judging by most threads about Nintendo talk is for them to be exactly like Sony and MS which technically means going after their exact markets, problem is what happens to the other markets that aren't being targeted, that were suddenly left to shrivel?.

Where will I get those games I love that Nintendo makes if they are to be exactly like Sony/MS?, my type of games I'd love would be dropped like a hat (you know like RTS has been for the past 6 years if not longer) and then I'd have less games to play and less of a reason to buy a console and just stick with PC but in the end that would be the specific market's fault that everyone tells Nintendo to chase, I like Nintendo doing what they do because they don't give much of a fuck and aren't forcing themselves to chase the biggest money maker market while forgetting those around them.

Yeah Sony and MS have sold a lot but there's still 6-7 billion of us on the planet, still loads more people left out from the big 3's markets, if they were all the same it would be even worse than before, I'd rather let Nintendo do their thing, you guys don't seem to tell Sony what to do these days, I see people being quite comfortable with what they're doing despite some of us not having an interest or not liking their offerings, I don't see people taking that in and asking Sony to aid those markets.

I don't think that Nintendo's games should be affected at all, they still can be unique, colorful, creative. The only thing I want from Nintendo to change is their philosophy while building their consoles, and their marketing strategy, those are the only things I want completely changed. Not only to my and other Nintendo fans' benefit, but to their benefit as well, as that would bring a lot more of a wider audience.

You don't see anyone trying to tell Sony or Microsoft what to do? Well, people actually do, in fact, they do it now more than ever. How many people you see telling Sony that they want a new Jak game? That Sony should buy Crash back? That they should improve their online services? How many times we'd seen people complaining that Xbox doesn't have worth-while exclusives until they eventually started to make amends to that with XOnes' more diverse library? Same thing with the DRM fiasco. It's called feedback.

It's cool that you like that Nintendo is going hipster n' stuff, but not everyone is in your position, not everyone can afford 2 systems to play games with and maybe even the time they game doesn't even justify buying 2 different systems each gen. I , for example, would absolutely love to buy a Nintendo system without the fear of being left out of all the 3rd party experiences I might enjoy, which outnumber Ninty 10 to 1.

I'm now filled with determination.
