Gamestop KNOWINGLY Sold Temporarily Fixed Xbox 360s

Aren't a lot of 360's just temporally working, oh I meant temporally fixed? Why would you buy a pre owned version of a console that was notorious for breaking? How is that gamestop's fault and not MS's?
