Well the military shooter is dying, but that would be a step in the right direction. Microsoft has Halo and Gears of War while Sony has Killzone. If Nintendo could fund a similar effort and give it a AAA budget, they would benefit greatly from it as a good first step.

But the emphasis on it being just a first step. They need far far more than just one AAA shooter to get that kind of audience.
