But that does mean they commit to who they cast as her human self, and voice.

This statement is funny if you consider there have been 3 hulk actors. :P

Yes. But it's a dumb move to hire an actor for the part, but than not use them. It happend with Two Face with Time Burton's movies. Williams never got a chance to play the part in Forever. It's just a bad call. It's a major role. Someone busted their ass, in casting. Especially for Hero movies. You need to find someone unique etc. But than that's all pissed away. Now the actors for Hulk, well the movies kept messing up with audiances. So they had to keep rebooting them. And Norton/Marvel couldn't agree on anything for him to come back as Bruce.

That still doens't work out. Hulk has two films. One is really hated. And the second just broke even. People so far care about the other characters more than Hulk. But Mark hasn't gotten a chance to star in a movie yet. I hope that will fix it.

He said famous, not popular though. Big difference.

You still have to think of it from the money making aspect though. You can be massive famous. If your movie just breaks even, or fails. Than the studio is gonna be cauious.
