We'll see.  But in the videos it seemed like there was extensive customization that could be done with tools in addition to template stuff.  I haven't played RPG maker nor other such games, so I suppose you may be speaking from experience I lack; what seemed lacking to you in the tools that you saw in the videos you've seen?
