The PS/Xbox market will not move away from PS/Xbox, while PS/Xbox get the games that the PS/Xbox market enjoy playing and 3rd party developers have problems working with Nintendo.

I disagree, but it would require an entire overhall of Ninendos image and "way of life". And even then the next console would fail. However, the one after would see good strides, if for 5 or so years they truly position themselves as a core gaming company. Nintendo + the third party offerings + the new studios they would need to build creating games like Halo, Uncharted ect, plus online on par with XBL/PSN, would be hard for anyone into gaming to resist.

It'll never happen btw.
