Appeal to their core audience while going after Sony and MS' as well. Offer more of an online service, get 3rd parties on board, would be nice for Nintendo to offer something like Sony did with PS+ in the 7th gen. Meaning have a service that is not mandatory, but would offer nice perks, like free games.
