Marvel fanboy. There are big issues I have like I'm insulted there are no mutants in the MCU, mutants define Marvel comics, without them it just doesn't feel right. I also I didn't like the fact the Infinity Stones were called stones and not gems (rather pathetics small thing this one but dang it, 'tis what fanboys do). Avenger's have had their fair share of females in powerful roles, Wasp being a founding member. Monica Rambeau and Tigra being a great examples. Black Widow is a weak female character to have in my personal view but she is marketable (lack of russian accent aside obviously). |
Yeah, but that doesn't explain why you are insulted that Carol Danvers will be Capt Marvel, because she IS Capt Marvel in the MU. Disappointed, sure, but insulted doesn't make sense. I like that one of the most powerful of all Avengers is going to be a woman.
Also while not being called X-men because of movie rights conflicts, we do have Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver coming on board from the X-men.
