It shows how poor is the script and the editing of the film, you can tell almost any story on 150 minutes and usually in way less time. If you want to tell more stories guess what, that is why sequels are created and they would be created if the movie was good in the first place. This way they can milk the audience by splittling the plot and filling up each movie with useless garbage.
