MikeB sometimes your bias gets in the way of some of the great points you have to make. Everyone knows that the larger your install base the lower your attachment rate is going to be so attachment rate really does not matter, infact individual consoles sales does not really matter for Rockstar.

Aslong as GTA4 sells well overal and both systems sell atleast 3m then it fully justifies why multiplatform development is the way to go. It doesnt really matter what the % split is aslong as the title is a success in its own right on both platforms.

Personally I can see the 360 version outselling the PS3 version globally by around 60-40 during its first month. Roughly 3-4m on the 360 vs 2-2.5m on the PS3.

The American market is the biggest for buying games and the 360 has a massive lead there, even in Others the 360 gets more sales for most hardcore games.

The PS3 might eventually catch the 360 in GTA4 sales but its going to take quite a while.
