realistically i expect 2016 to be a big come-down from 2015 if not a lot gets delayed this year (which i don't think will happen). here are my predictions for some of the big guns, tho:
1. metroid: there will almost certainly be a metroid game (which will hopefully be an october title--that is, not the tentpole holiday title) for either or both the 3ds and the wii u (a repeat of 2002 with fusion/prime dropping same day?).
2. mario: there will be a mainline mario title, possibly in the galaxy line, but maybe in the *sunshine* line if sunshine hd is indeed nintendo's remaster this year (i think it will be). this would be the holiday title presumably.
3. pokémon: pokken fighters will be due for its console release in 2016, and that's a perfect september title (and a lead-in to a new pokémon spin-off, maybe detective pikachu, on 3ds).
4. animal crossing: this is coming. good spring title.
5. f-zero: i think the mute city track in mk8, as well as the whole anti-gravity thing, is the surest sign that nintendo's thinking of doing this. it may, like star fox, be an experimental title where the content is either episodic or released over time. that works best for a title like this, which like star fox has a cult following but not the broad appeal of mario/zelda/poké-everything.
i think there's a platinum title coming between bayonetta 2 and 3. i think it will be a new ip and not a w101 sequel. there will be some delectable 2d platforming to be had, no doubt, as nintendo's been spoiling platformer fans like myself of late... beyond that, maybe a fire emblem title (maybe the cross-over with smt, tho that was having some development troubles) and maybe another hyrule warriors game since that's doing pretty swimmingly...
