so this kind of stuff happens over time. not even hyrule warriors has hit a million (it will soon). same with wind waker hd--didn't hit even 800k first year, now comfortably over 1m. same with bayonetta 2. it's not a matter of faith, just look at the weekly numbers. it's outselling the ps3 and 360 original on a week by week basis by a lot.

540k in 2 months and a week is nothing to sneer at. without counting digital sales (reggie says around 10%...).


It should be outselling the original, it was released 5-6 years ago on two consoles that are now on the road out.

at the comparable period after release. i don't mean right now... i guess "week by week" was confusing. but i mean, if you compare the first ten weeks of bayonetta on ps360 to the first ten weeks of bayonetta 2 on wii u, wii u is handily outselling both. on an install base that is 1/8 to 1/10 that of either ps3 or 360.
