That's a good idea, since the DS will probably mop the floor with the PS2.
You're looking at consoles that are less than two years into their life cycle. It's just way too early to say. The Wii is selling faster than the PS2 did, so that's promising, but whether or not it will push as much software depends on how well third parties support the Wii. Obviously, it has the "nintendo advantage" in so much as it is virtually guaranteed to sell hundreds of millions of copies of Nintendo titles.
