It still seems logical that the previous install base still outnumbers the current, there's still more people out there that haven't made the jump to current gen yet so I'd still expect to see high sales for the previous gen, give it at least another year or more until they discontinue software for the previous gen and more sales will generate shortly after for current gen.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
