So, if I were to get a Samsung TV with access to PS Now , I expect the level of price that Netflix offers. I guarantee you that most regular Joe's with no console will only pay for PS Now if it's below $10 bucks because they will not see having access to 100+ old games as worth the money since they probably don't have time to play all of them anyways. Netflix is appealing because of its pricing and because it offers new content. PS Now is nowhere near that and at least EA is giving access to their network for cheap to gamers which makes sense. Hence why is more desirable for me, particularly because I do not own any of their games and I know they're not games I have played before. |
EA access will only work if you already own an XB1. and only for EA games. PS+ will work if you own a PS4, PS3 or PSvita. and in addition to allowing you play online you get 2 games for each of those platforms every month. mostly nee games too and oh, this isn't restricted to just EA games.
PSnow ultimately will work on every smart device on the planet. and if not on your XB1, on the TV that XB1 is connected to or your smartphone or tablet. The only hardware you will need is a dual shock 4 controller. this service is not Netflix. its not dealing in movies and TV shows. its a game service. so if you want to compare it to anything compare it to another game service. and the only thing comparable is a service that has existed for over 10 years. Gamefly, and do you know how its subscription fee is? $15/month. more so, you can only rent a game at a to,we and need the game hardware in your house to play it.
that you don't know all these differences is beyond me or kinda suspicious. but answer this. this is a service that only (so far) has games from the previous generation of consoles. who do you think its currently directed at? for someone that never owned a PS3 or didn't play most of the games the service will offer, or someone new to gamimg and doesn't want to buy a console but just wants to stream to their TV, do you think they would look at these games as "old"?
that's like watching The matrix trilogy today for the first time and calling it old Lol. anything you are getting for the first time is new. as it stands, this service is tailor made for people that either never owned a ps3 or hasn't played most of the games on offer. lastly, the service is still in beta for a reason.
