Remind people what fun nintendo games can provide. Maybe they play pokemon gold, get feelings of nostalgia, then during the game an ad pops up saying "Pokemon X Now available on 3DS" It's a brill idea, wont hurt there business even if it doesnt cause people to buy the hardware, and it's extra cash from a market that otherwise wouldnt be giving them a penny. And its better nintendo provide official ports or emulators rather than pirates providing them and making money off nintendos ip |
My thoughts exactly. I don't think itll hurt the Nintendo name if they released their own official emulators for iOS and Android and how harmful could it be to release games that are like +10yrs old. I'm sure there are many people that would rather pay for an official nintendo emulator than to download a free one. It'll give phone users a taste of Nintendo and if they want the full deal then they'll purchase a Nintendo console. That's how I see it with PSNow and how people can game on phones too where they'll get the Sony experience but if/when they're ready to try out the full Sony experience then they can purchase the PS4. Worst case Sony/Nintendo made a few extra bucks elsewhere that's not from their console.
