Unfortunately, all us Sony fans don't get together to solidify our view on things. As much as I would love a sony fanboy solidarity meeting 
So in essence, unless one person said both those things, you shouldn't be confused that different people have different opinions.
I made the same mistake about Nintendo fans when I started posting here. Just because people have some of the same views, doesn't mean they have the same views on everything.
