However, if they made a fresh take that was as evocative, daring, and spared-no-expense as the original Prime was for its era, that would be. I too would like to see them handle a new IP, but honestly, I expect that crummy Diddy Kong Racing rumour to be true. What a waste that would be. |
MP with "just" upgraded graphics - makes no sense.
The sales numbers declined since MP 1 and the Trilogies numbers where something to be ashamed of as a gamer.
But Diddy Kong Racing would be wasted talent AND opportunity. There IS NO WiiMote / Nunchuck FPS out there for the Wii U.
I can even see them using the GamePad for interactive cards etc. too. Which would enable them do "tighten" the maps, make the environment even more a part of the puzzles. I guess we will see the return of a multi dimensions (as in MP2) - but this time giving us more fun and for a purpose other than strechting game time...
MP 4 needs to make the same thing Skyward Sword did for Zelda. Those intertwined environments were are great archivment in game design (as the controls were too). "Just" transfer that into multi dimensions...
