I see a potential issue with a Metroid Prime successor: at the time GC / Wii it was a nice "trick" to design a world with less NPCs and a feeling of "loneliness" to work around missing CPU power.

Having played Prime 1 (Trilogy WiiMote/Nunchuck of course) only a half a year ago again it hit me that "upgrading" the Prime series onto the Wii U is much more than just graphics.

Keeping the feel of Prime AND giving it fresh gameplay is a serious task. And if the do - many as I hope that they will stick to the best FPS controls ever invented: WiiMote and Nunchuck. But this might be problematic as Nintendo might want to feature the GamePad...

Splatoon is something which is filling the void of a missing FPS and multiplayer FPS on the Wii U.

But still I would like to see Samus in full HD glory...
