My conclusion is true. If Nintendo remained "past" Nintendo they would have given DLC as free. Look at CD Project Red.

Just admit that you were caught, then everyone can move on.

Admit? Lol. Why should I admit something which I havent done in first place?

Nobody expected Nintendo to make DLC and they did. Its against classic Nintendo philisophy. And this is the stepping stone towards future DLC plans like Microsoft and Sony. Amiboo's are also like disc locked content. But this is presented in a smart way so people are getting it.

As for conclusion I am quoting one of the most respected develoeprs words, CD Project Red. Why they are most respected? Because they have earned that place.

"As gamers, we nowadays have to hold on tight to our wallets, as surprisingly right after release, lots of tiny pieces of tempting content materialize with a steep price tag attached. Haven't we just paid a lot of cash for a brand new game?" he says.

"As CD Projekt Red, we strongly believe this is not the way it should work and, with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, we have decided to do it differently," he added. "This is our way of saying thank you for buying our game."
