In Prime 2 (which was also brutally difficult) Retro pushed the envelope, in terms of not just graphical fidelity, but immersion and atmosphere. Reduce TF to DKCR levels of graphical polish and it could be done on the Wii. Again, it's a great game, one of my favourites of last year, but it didn't have the ambition to see how far the hardware could be pushed or how far outside Nintendo's comfort zone it could venture. It played it safe. |
Reduce Prime 2 to Perfect Dark level of graphical polish and it could be done on the N64.
