Level design seemed equally great across the two to me.

As for the music, we'll just have to disagree, as I consider TF's score one of the greatest video game soundtracks I've ever heard.

Lol It was so funny on the giantbomb GOTY deliberation podcasts one of the guys mentioned the DKTF soundtrack as being great and they went to youtube and found like a 2 hour long video of the "best tracks" from that game. They couldn't find a single good one. Sorry, but a DK game's soundtrack just doesn't register as great in any way shape or form.
