McCain has pretty much full endorsment for the entire republican voter base, and possibly even those democratic voters who didn't get their candidate of choice picked during the primaries. Sorry for those Democrat supporters or Republican haters, but I don't see any possible way for those two to salvage the party support from the rift that they've created. This is basically a perfect parallel to PS3 vs 360 vs Wii. 360 and PS3 are fighting each other for every sale and Wii has its own userbase. Sure, if you total the sales of the PS3 and the 360 together, they come out above what the PS3 has, but since that's not how it works, the Wii is the one with the most console sold now. |
@ Sega Jon - LOL, thanks for props on the comment.
@ Grey - there is one thing to remember about this election - the record turnouts for just the primaries. And even if folks are mad and pissed off by the Dems brawling, BUT ... Obama is the front runner and can bring Hillary folks back to the table. Sure, he won't get all of them, but when it's clear Obama has sealed the nomination, this race will unify the Dems. I've talked to Dems who support Hillary, but are leaning to Obama.
McCain is getting funds and the like because he has no one to campaign against. He's gonna have a scrap against Obama. Even now, a lot of folks have never heard what Obama has to say - except from what they hear from Hillary or McCain. When Obama faces McCain, he will gain support among undecideds and even some GOPers - OR the evangelicals will just stay home in November.
This cartoon will be prophetic.
