I'm interested in gamepad aiming myself. I think it was awesome in Nintendoland in Metroid Blast. I just hope the option for more traditional aiming is there too if I don't want to move that much.  

 

Saying gamepad aimng is counterintuitive is like saying pointing your finger is counterintuitive.
