What console did you think would win this generation?

Other than this being what you wanted to have happen did you have any objective reasoning behind think xb one would win it? I know a few people though xb one had a shot but just looking at how things played out last gen I can't see what logical thought processes could lead to that conclusion.

Actually it wasn't. It was all an artifact of 360's 1 year head start. 360's lead ballooned from end of 2008 to Aug 2009 because of its price cut, but when 299 ps3 slim came along it was all PS3. Kinect gave 360 a major shot in the arm, but it wasn't quite enough for the global market. It certainly did a number on the USA market though.

Doesn't change that it was leading for a while....
