Awesome. You can do story missions online, after which you'll be given an item so that you can automatically clear the story mission in single player without having to beat it again. It's pretty useful, especially for the final boss before the post-game since he is an annoying prick and the AI - which is typically pretty good otherwise - has trouble dealing with his stupid, annoying shit.

So you get to skip the cutscenes in between missions and then play through the story sans missions while in single player?
