Mario Party 2 and Mario Kart 64 score high because every time I play games at a party, these are the games we still play. The best in each respective series and just amazing multiplayer games overall.
Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG are my favorite RPG's, so they are high up too. Front Mission, Pokemon, Fire Emblem, and Advance Wars take up the next few spaces because they define video games for me. All portable, but all so damn well built and addictive. I love Turn based RPG's and Strategy games.
After that, the list just includes my favourites. Metroid Prime and Gears of War create an amazing atmosphere, Lost Odyssey is one of the best JRPG's ever made. Golden Sun is also fun as hell too. Forza 3 is the best SIM racer, Mass Effect 2 is my favourite WRPG, has amazing pacing and storytelling even though the plot itself is meh. Counter Strike and Lost Planet are fun multiplayer games, and Kirby's Dream Course is just a relaxing awesome game.

This year I have some more classic JRPG's on my to do list. XenoGears, Chrono Cross, & Suikoden will likely be played and likely appear high on the list based off initial impressions. Front Mission 3 is a huge letdown though . I'm also working on some classic Fire Emblem games, Zelda for Wii and a few others, it's going to be really hard to decide what makes the cut soon, we need a top 100.
