Tell that to idiot Penn Gillete where (to him) "Merry Christmas" is basically saying *You're not a part of this holiday because you're not christian.* I respect the guy and all but him saying merry christmas is leaving people out of the holiday is stupid since the holiday is not exclusive to christians, and since it's so intertwined with the american and european beliefs/customs with the winter solstice side of winter.
In fact I keep arguing that you can say merry xmas in a welcoming way to everyone since it is afterall, all about being good towards your fellow men (or people) and being (should I say) merry.
