I would actually love for this to happen. I dont have to be carefull with them, just put a bunch in my pocket and play whatever I have on the go or at friends house. |
Who says that discs/reader need to be noticeably faster or more efficient than blu ray? None of the console companies or developers have said that they are gonna to or wanted to go that route. It will evolve into a better and more efficent disc and disc reader over but I doubt that it will leap frog right into digital only. It will not go that route because the consumers don't want that. MS tried some crap that the consumers didn't want and it bite them right in the ass even when a few people were saying MS's policies were the future.
